Instrument Course
Our Instrument Rating Course is taught by our own professional instrument instructors with years of weather-flying experience. Our aircraft are fully IFR certified Cessna 172s and a Beechcraft Baron.
When you complete our course you will have the instrument experience and be armed with the knowledge and expertise that only years of instruction knowledge can impart. This one-on-one instruction will make you competent and safe when operating in the instrument environment.
Equipment Available
- 3 IFR-equipped Cessna 172s
- 1 Beechcraft Baron
Hourly Rates
- Cessna 172 (wet) - $90 per hour solo, $115 per hour instruction
- Twin-engine Beechcraft Baron - $290 per hour dual, $260 per hour solo
- Ground instruction fee: $30 per hour
All instruction is on a 1-to-1 instructor/student ratio. Colemill instructors are full-time, salaried, professional pilots who will give each student his/her money's worth. If you're serious about your flying career, don't overlook this facility. The equipment is top-notch and well maintained by Colemill's own maintenance department.
